Chris was amazing! He came on time and made the extra effort to figure out the problem correctly and fixed it completely. Turns out we had a small leak in a water pipe going to the fridge on the main floor that was causing water to collect and then drip into our finished basement. Even though it was very, very difficult, he pulled out the fridge, fixed the pipe, replaced a water valve and put everything back. He is extremely honest and saved us alot of monies and time. Would highly recommend! He will be the first person we turn to for any plumbing issues!

We had initially hired Salvo to fix a botched plumbing job. He was quick to respond to our Thumbtack request, and was also available to provide service soon. During that visit, he mentioned that he also does partial home remodeling - such as tiling, floors, bathrooms, etc.
Salvo was very transparent in explaining that he only does the work he feels comfortable doing and has expertise in. We appreciated his honesty as we had recently been suffering through a string of contractors who promised competence, but instead left us with repeated disastrous outcomes.
We invited Salvo back to our home to get estimates on 2 incomplete bathroom remodels, that required a lot of re-work due to how our previous contractor approached the project. Salvo gave us a reasonable quote for our project, and assured us that when he was working on our home, he would only be working on our home, so we wouldn't have to go chasing after him.
Cut to the end of the bathroom remodel - everything looks fantastic. The tiles are expertly cut and laid, and fixtures are appropriately installed. Any rework that needed to happen, whether it be plumbing or concrete, was done cleanly and efficiently. Additionally, we asked Salvo to install a back splash, kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, and outdoor spigot for the hose.
We would highly recommend Salvo for any job, and look forward to working with him in the future, as well. He was reliable, professional, personable, and punctual! He was cooperative in fixing odds and ends as we pointed them out, and he also took initiative to tell us what needed repair or what could be salvaged. He took occasional help from his wife and another family member, and they were all a pleasure to work with.
