We paid Tritan Plumbing $850 to perform the following:
1. Install an inline chlorinator that we provided.
2. Fix or replace a valve in our basement shower that just lets water through with a trickle.
Tritan's work results:
1. Tritan's plumber, Oscar, installed the inline chlorinator without a valve on the supply side, as the installation manual and common sense require. As a result, we could not refill the chlorinator with additional chlorine tablets.
I contacted Tritan to correct the mistake, and they installed the required valve, but charged an additional $450 to fix the mistake. Tritan unfairly made us pay for this mistake, beyond the fair cost of a plastic valve. In addition, the piping now has water drops hanging from the bends, with wetting of the floor, which concerns us on the reliability of the workmanship there.
2. The basement shower valve worked for about a week, and now just trickles again.
I have contacted Nina in their office, who said that she tried to obtain a response from the plumbers, and from "the manager". These issues remain unresolved. What a $1300 nightmare.
