We're very happy with how the two rooms turned out. We also had a fairly large patio poured and some smaller projects within the house. All turned out well. We had a few companies bid on the work. David's prices are competitive and the work is good quality. I never felt like he was trying to upsell me or find extra work--he just did his best to deliver what we needed. He was very responsive and involved throughout all the projects, and always took time to answer questions and respond to concerns. He got it all put up without issue and it looks gorgeous! You can tell he's done this stuff a long time and is very particular about the details. Every corner is perfect. W. S. says, "I had ceramic tile put in my kitchen and my wood floors refinished. They look amazing. The finished product is outstanding. My only complaint is the mess that was left afterward. I spent the entire next day with 3 other people cleaning dust from the sanding of the wood off of walls, floors, carpet, furniture, inside drawers, pictures, counters. My recommendation is to budget in a cleaning service after the project."See more

Thor Development was great to work with. They responded quickly to our request for an estimate. They were more than the other bids we received, but Kevin took more time and paid more attention to what we told him we wanted to accomplish. He pointed out measurements and other parts of the project to us that the other bidders passed over. We went with Kevin/Thor because he was licensed and because we felt the end result would be better. Overall, the project took a little longer than we thought it would, but all the good contractors in our area were very busy and the end result met our expectations and more. We did a basement remodel. We cut into walls, cut into the cement to access the main sewer line, added a new bathroom, closed a wall and opened up another. There was plumbing work, electrical, framing, flooring and painting. All was coordinated by Kevin/Thor Development. Would we use Thor Development again? Absolutely.
