Miele Luxury ApplianceRepair quickly replies to make first appointment to check appliance, an older Miele washing machine. He quickly diagnosed the problem and then sent us an estimate for obtaining parts and doing the repair. He was able to get the part quickly and do the repair. We were pleased with the repair and our overall experience with Miele Luxury ApplianceRepair. The price was higher than we expected.

My dryer broke and the manufacturer (Miele) gave me 2 weeks to get a tech out. City Tech was at my house within 2 hours of me putting in my request. Tech Mike was courteous and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue (burned out heating assembly). I had an estimate within 24 hours for part cost and labor. As soon as they received the part, we scheduled the repair visit, and Mike and George did a great job replacing the element. I highly recommend City Tech for appliancerepair.

We had hired CityTech through Thumbtack to fix an issue with a Miele refrigerator.
Our technician, George, was great and professionally on-time, even texting us that he was on his way so we can anticipate ETA. He walked us through the diagnostic test. He helped us order the necessary parts and came back a 2nd time around to install the evaporator fan motor, the switch, the defrost kit, clean up the condenser coils and replace the water filter for the ice maker.
The entire process was seamless and would definitely reach out to CityTech for any other HVAC&Appliancerepair needs.

Avoid at all costs especially if you have a Miele product.
1) Repair man could not speak English. Spoke only Russian so unable to communicate with me. Communication is through text from a third party and not with person present doing repairs. He will look at your appliance then someone else over phone later has to tell you what needs to be done. Of course means you cannot explain to him the problems as you see them and confirm you agree with his assessment.
2) He misdiagnosed the problem, likely partly because he didn't understand English and our description of the problem. He diagnosed the problem as a particular part being faulty; we purchased part and he came back on a second visit and changed that but the fault remained. He claimed the fault was not there before when he came the first time. However, this was the original fault we always had and was what we posted in the Thumbtack request with photograghs. But he probably didn't know because he can't read English and never read our request.
3) Having already spent about 400 dollars on changing a part that was working perfectly, he now communicates to his control center who now contact me that I need to change the entire control panel and then they send me a quote for a Miele part for $ 973. At this point I knew they were just stringing me for money and did not pursue further.
I ultimately had a technician from Miele come. The control panel was working fine and all it needed was a lock worth 80 dollars and the entire repair was completed with 240 dollars.

What a wonderful experience working with Marley! I will definitely use him again in the future! He was prompt, polite, reasonably priced and extremely knowledgeable. I have three old appliances ( Viking Oven , subzero fridge and a Miele washing machine) and he gave me guidance on all of them even though i just called him to repair the washer. We had a slight hiccup with the washer and he came back the same day. I also had a wrong part come in and he didn’t charge me for another service call despite coming back for nothing. Marley is friendly, honest and a fantastic repairman. Do not hesitate to call him !

I cannot say enough positive things about Gerardo. He is very professional, very diligent with his work, on time with his appointment, and most importantly, he is HONEST which I liked the most. His overall customer service is superb.
We called him as our Miele dishwasher was not working. Gerardo identified the problem and told us that ; 1) we would have to order two different parts from the manufacturer to fix the problem. However, it would be costly. 2) He can fix the problem without ordering the new parts but that would only be a temporary fix and not recommendable. 3) The cost to order two different parts and have it fixed would most likely exceed getting a new dishwasher. He suggested that we look into getting a new dishwasher even though he would not be compensated at all if we did get a new dishwasher. We elected to get a new dishwasher.
We also asked him to take a look at our Sub-Zero fridge. This was not originally planned but he immediately identified the problem in the freezer and went out of his way to fix the problem. In addition, he also cleaned our freezer and fridge. The overall cost of his services and advice on our dishwasher and fridge/freezer was very reasonable and lower than other repair service shops. \
Lastly, several days later, I asked Gerado to help us on an issue that had nothing to do with appliance. It was helping us with getting our cabinet/drawer installed. He went out his way to help us.
In summary, Gerado's customer oriented service is excellent, can repair any appliance, is quick and responsible with his response and work, and most importantly is a vert honest and reliable person. You will not be disappointed.
