Honestly, getting help on Thumbtack is a bit hit or miss. Plumbing Pure is a hit. Highly recommended. Prompt, courteous and a genuinely nice guy. Work was top notch with better pricing than calling a plumbing company. I'm bookmarking this one for future projects.

My first Thumbtack experience, and it was a great one -
The job involved replacing the original toilet from 1960 (seriously) that suddenly cracked its tank. Ronnie, the guy behind Bright Ideas Plumbing, showed up on time and ready to work - he completed the removal / install in about 30 mins, left absolutely no mess, and was super pleasant and nice.
5 stars to this plumbing company!

Tom replaced the faucet in our laundry room, but also pointed out a couple of issues that needed attention which he took care of. In passing, I asked him his opinion on why one of the shower heads in the master bathroom did not give out hot water. Another plumbing company recommended extensive work which was going to be costly. Tom diagnosed the problem almost immediately and was able to repair the shower head and hot water is coming out again!! His charge for the extra work was minimal, significantly less than what the other plumbing company was going to charge me.
I highly recommend Plumping Pure, and definitely one of their technicians, Tom.

I could have checked responsiveness and punctuality as well, but am limited to three choices. Tom got back to me almost immediately, arrived on time, did an excellent job replacing my toilet, all for a very reasonable price. He purchased the toilet for me after consulting about my price range, and though an inexpensive toilet, it is of good quality and design. He is also friendly and professional, and to top it off made suer my cat was properly secured before leaving the door open (she was safe in a back bedroom0. I highly recommend Plumbing Pure and Tom.
