He's a stickler for the foundational elements, which is exactly what I need to take my guitar playing to the next level. He is truly interested in seeing me improve. I'm a songwriter and I need to up my game to be able to hang with co-writers who are more advanced musically, and I also have the goal to play out at writers rounds and open mics and I need to get a little more proficient for that. We're playing acoustic. We've done both Skype and in-person lessons. Highly recommended. Good location. Update: I recently joined his Guitar Mastery Apprenticeship program, and it is fantastic. Wish I joined earlier. I want to make a living out of my passion playing guitar and Ahmad said he can help. He did! 3 month into the program I am making more than $10k/month from performing and publishing songs. Next month is on pace to beat that amount! I like and appreciate Ahmad!"See more

Winston K. says, "June is a great teacher!!!! We are doing lessons over Zoom (most of the time) as we live in different cities. I think this would make it difficult to teach but it hasn't at all. Her knowledge of music is vast. I am an advanced player and I wanted t learn music theory and broaden my musical vocabulary. I had learned some theory before but it was while taking piano lessons and it wasn't translating well to guitar. We have been working together maybe 10 months now and her teaching has had a positive effect on my playing. I have a better understanding of what I'm doing and hearing intervals has become much easier. We are progressing into modes and working on Jazz chord progressions now and with a bit of work on my part I am becoming a better musician. If you want to learn the Guitar or Bass or music theory and composition you couldn't ask for a better teacher. Her patience and upbeat attitude make her joy work with!!!"See more

I choose Jeff because of his introduction "Learn Music From a Pro". That he is "A Pro". Jeff makes lessons interesting and easy to follow. He is patient, always on time. There were several times I was unable to attend a session and he made sure I could make up my time. I found Jeff to be very patient, Professional with his student's. He has the knowledge, ability and desire to pass on to his students. I'm truly grate full I choose Jeff Brent. He, without a doubt is a "Pro" and enjoys what he does.
