FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $45/half hour, $65/forty-five minutes and $80/hour. I do charge an additional fee for in-home lessons depending on the length of the commute.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first priority is to meet the student where they're at. First lessons usually involve some preliminary assessment and then formulating a strategy for ensuring the student is learning the kind of material that interests them and gets their playing to where they want it to be in order to meet their musical goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began playing guitar at the age of 9 and percussion a few years later. I've been playing music professionally since the age of 16, and in 2011 received my degree in Guitar Performance from the Berklee College of Music. Since moving to LA, I've continued teaching in addition to recording and playing locally, nationally and internationally with bands ranging from heavy metal to pop to fusion and more.
