- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is: $35 for a 30min lesson, $45 for a 45 min lesson, $60 for 60min lesson.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music from UC Berkeley. I studied Jazz Composition and Guitar Performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston. I later went on to complete my studies in classical composition, ethnomusicology, and music theory at UC Berkeley. I also began studying classical piano at the age of six. During my formative years, I was accepted into the citywide honor orchestra as a clarinetist and later performed jazz guitar with the Loyola Marymount Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Buddy Collette. I am a talented composer and arranger of orchestral and commercial music, and write for film and television when I am not teaching. I am also proficient in production and audio engineering.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been teaching music for over 20 years. I began teaching guitar, bass and Ukulele at music centers in Southern California and now teach in Northern California. I also currently teach at music schools in Fremont, San Ramon and Foster City.
