Chris is an outstanding drum instructor! My 11 year old son is losing his eyesight due to a degenerative retinal disease, but has been interested in trying his hand at learning to play the drums. As a mother, I was just wanting my son to find something that was "his thing" and that would give him the confidence in himself that he so desperately needed. Chris did not hesitate to take my son on - vision impairment and all! The kindness, patience and compassion he has shown my son has been amazing - not to mention he's a phenomenal drummer! My kiddo had never touched a drum in his life and had no previous experience with a musical instrument. Chris has made the lessons accessible to my child and has gone out of his way to tailor the lessons to my son's needs. My son has a blast! If he's had a bad day or is feeling down, by the time he's done with his lesson with Chris, he comes out energized, smiling and is in the best mood! Chris makes the lessons fun and is so encouraging and positive and makes my kid feel like the best rock star on Earth. In the months we've been going to our drum lessons, I've watched my son's confidence grow exponentially. He feels like he's finally got the potential to be good at something - and that's all because of Chris. You can't put a price tag on that. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chris Korzin! If you want an instructor who is not only a gifted musician, but genuinely ENJOYS teaching to kids and people of all ages, all levels of experience - and welcomes kids with special needs/circumstances, Chris is the best you will find - hands down!

My daughter has had a great experience working with Chris. She can't wait for her drum lesson each week. Chris is always positive and very encouraging. He challenges her with new concepts without getting her frustrated. Chris makes it fun but also stresses the importance of practice and the discipline it takes to improve and succeed. Chris is providing a great foundation for a beginning drummer like my daughter.
