I had a very difficult time with BestBuy after they messed up my washer install and caused water damage to my laundry room. I hired Robert from Thumbtack and He did a fabulous job helping me with the claim and also advising me of the legalities involved (construction defect, use of proper contractors needed by law and licenses required) with the claim process. It took over three months to resolve the claim with multiple parties involved and I appreciate Robert being patient as well as providing me with information that I was able to successfully pursue with the insurance companies. I didn’t end up having any work done, but the entire experience of working with David and the on-site was very good and worth leaving a review for.
The hot water heater in our condo burst, and since it was indoors it flooded an entire bedroom. Flooding and water damage is so stressful, and David really helped alleviate that. He responded to my initial request within a few minutes, took over a dozen calls from me and replied to texts immediately, and got a team out there within a few hours to assess. They couldn’t start work because the leak was still ongoing, but David helped me understand what was happening and what I needed to do. He answered so many questions for me, and was willing to help me understand what my options were.
We were having issues dealing with our HOA and insurance, and it was a relief when David gave us a transparent cash quote. Our HOA eventually came through and took care of the issue, but I would’ve been happy to work with David and team instead.
