After searching three days for a reliable, professional, and responsive hard drive data recovery expert to recover data stored from my failed Seagate 2 TB hard drive, I chose Harry Stein with Stein Solutions whom I had located through Thumbtack. On my first call with him, he spent a long time explaining his services and methods.
Within three of days after driving to pick up the drive, he returned it to me with its data recovered to a new Samsung 1-TB SSD (that I had previously purchased for the purpose). I installed the new drive and was pleased to find the data recovered from the failed Seagate.
Not finished, Harry called a day later and, with my permission, connected remotely with my computer. As I sat back and watched for the next FOUR hours, Harry examined and fixed many issues including removing potentially harmful Google Chrome extensions and dangerous programs I had downloaded over the internet. During the process, he provided me with an important tutorial on safe computing procedures, e.g., “evil” free downloads, bad extensions, and computer settings.
