We needed to have an under mount sink installed and after calling numerous places, we finally found a plumber that would do it. I am so glad we found Superior Plumbing! We hired Ivan from Batvan4o LLC to address a clogged tub in our guest bathroom and a clogged kitchen sink, paying $650 upfront. Initially, he successfully cleared the bathroom tub, but complications arose with the kitchen sink. During his first visit, an issue emerged with the dishwasher while attempting to resolve the sink clog. Ivan promptly addressed this by securing the dishwasher to the wall and stabilizing the racks, creating a functional but unconventional fix.
Despite these challenges, Ivan went above and beyond during his follow-up visit to resolve the ongoing kitchen sink clog. He thoroughly analyzed the situation, taking the time to investigate the pipes under our crawlspace. Ivan identified the root cause of the issue: severe grease build-up that had solidified over years, likely from previous homeowners. He patiently explained the problem and demonstrated his findings, ensuring I understood the situation entirely.
Ivan meticulously cleared the grease build-up and restored the kitchen sink to proper working condition. He even had me test the water flow repeatedly—filling the sink and allowing the water to drain completely—to confirm that the problem was resolved. This level of attention and dedication was impressive, especially since three licensed plumbers had failed to fix the issue before him.
As new homeowners, we now understand the importance of maintaining the plumbing system and avoiding practices that have contributed to this problem over time, such as improperly discarding grease. Ivan’s persistence, expertise, and willingness to go the extra mile ultimately satisfied us with his service.
From here on out, we will go to Ivan for any plumbing needs. He has shown us the level of dedication, value, and professionalism of a skilled plumber who genuinely puts his customers before himself. This is a challenging aspect to find among contractors nowadays, so I am happy that we still have some good folks like him around.
