I was given an estimate of $875 to install/rebuild the cartridge in a KOHLER Transfer Valve and Rite Temp valve. Numerous times I said to the Technician (via chat) that I believe Kohler provides a LIfetime Guarantee/Warranty on their faucts/products, even giving him the Parts numbers. He never answered that question, and instead came back with a Quote that the Parts would cost $375 and his Labor would be $500. ISo I again responded with asking him if he checked to see about Kohler having a lifetime gurantee/warranty, and never heard back from him.
So I looked in to it further by calling Kohler, who confirmed that indeed, the parts had a Lifetime Warranty/Guarantee, tehy confirmed based on how my shower was leaking that it was those two Vales that needed the Cartridges rebuilt kits, then immediately processed the shipping of those the parts I need.
When I asked how long it would take a knowledgeable/experienced Plumber to install them, and they said it should take no more than an hour.
So, I was given a Quote of paying $375 that any knowledgeable person in the Plumbing business should know KOHLER's Lifetime Warranty, and $500 for a one hour job. I don't think so. And sure enough, I can get those two Valves rebuilt for much less than $500 Labor for the one hour it would take.
I so hate when companies assume we don't know anything and tries to get away with just flat out overcharging/price gouging, so I can only hope after reading this review, and getting a conscience.

You gotta be kidding me, that was such a weak rationale and justification (probably meant to convince yourself) for your excessive, bordering on greed, pricing, and that's what's unfair to your customers (and perhaps to your techs if you put pressure on them to do that with their pricing). And you didn't even address the part about trying to charge me $375 for Parts that any knowledgeable (as you claim to be) Plumbing company would know, that KOHLER has lifetime warranties on their products/faucets. I asked your Tech that 3 or 4 times, so you can't claim ignorance.
Yet you claim to be a Premium plumbing company "offering Premium Service"?? And trying to charge $500 for one hour of work doesn't make you Premium, it makes you and your pricing practices unconscionable.
