We highly recommend Simon, he did an excellent job repairing our exterior wood door on our old brick house. He repaired the hinge, put on new weatherstripping, chiseled the door frame to fit the strike plates for the deadbolt and door knob lock so it now opens and closes with ease, he is a great carpenter !

I wish I could have selected all of the great review topics for Simon! We had 10 finicky doors the previous owners of our home didn’t install correctly and Simon helped fix all of them from the strike plates, hinges, he even had to trim down one of the doors as it was the incorrect size for the frame! We had a good laugh at some of the “handiwork” the old owners did themselves. 12/10 would recommend! Thank you, Simon!!

Simon first agreed to install some custom barn doors I had ordered with all the hardware ordered separately. When he showed up however the project ended up being much more work than previously thought. Simon still ran with the project and I'm so glad he did.
I asked Simon to install 2 barn doors (each weighing about 170 lbs), the track, the hangars, headerboard and door handles.. I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. He worked diligently and had the doors up within a full work day. He had a few suggestions and tips that I thought about and gladly accepted. He had all of the tools required and not only added tons of value to my home, but I watched the way Simon worked and I know there were no cut corners and only quality craftsmanship and hard work put into my house-most importantly I could tell that I could trust Simon to take the care and time to work on my home as if it was his own (something you don't find very often). Simon put up the doors, measured a few things and took them back down only to adjust the smallest of measurements-something that I thought looked fine… but when he put them back up I realized exactly what he was talking about (and how wrong I was) and that he obviously knew much more and had much more experience than I had.
I would gladly hire Simon again for any home project/improvement/renovation, he quickly and efficiently added thousands of $ in value to my home at a fraction of the cost… his skills, knowledge, passion, and attention to detail are not like anything that I have seen from anybody else that works in this industry, and I hope he keeps doing what he’s doing because I might need him again at some point.
