Didn't hire him. Too extremely high and tried to justify his insane price of $3,000 to assemble an 8 x 8 shed. Do NOT trust this guy. He'll con ya.

Sherri, Sherri, I apologize if I made you feel this way. Per my correspondence with Dave, I had noted that I could work with him on pricing however I hadn't seen the site to where the gable shed would go. With site unseen and just the plans to go off of (this is what I was given: https://hw.menardc.com/main/items/media/HANDY008/Install_Instruct/166478x8Prescott.pdf), I had to go with the worst case scenario. There are numerous factors that go into building a shed for instance the additional materials needed to level the structure, finish and weather-protect, as well as erect the structure itself. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with my clients on bids. I want you to love the final product, we do our best to be fair with clients and work with them to fit their budget. Always remember that you get what you pay for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to stay in contact with my clients and make sure they're aware of each step in the process. I'm always more than willing to work with them on costs of projects and am very flexible. I believe that trust is the foundation of any type of relationship, especially a business relationship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a registered GC in the state of Nebraska and I also have my degree in Construction Management and Business. I've worked for various companies that range from framing homes to finishing touches throughout the actual house.
