I cannot say enough about how great Patrick is. I'm a terrible student who can't stay on task or commit to anything and no matter what random direction I go in between lessons he adapts and changes course. He meets you were you are and listens to your goals and makes sure you have the resources to succeed. Like, hand writing strumming directions into your favorite songs so you can start playing the guitar the way you kinda dream about it.
He is patient and able to explain every bit of what you're learning in a real accessible way. I'm the kind of person who needs to know the why of everything and if you've tried to learn guitar from a book or an app and failed like I did, he breaks everything down into understandable bites.
If you're someone who is on the fence about lessons because you've only made the choice to start learning and don't really want to commit to doing it in a very drawn in stone way, this is your guy. I don't think I've had a better teacher in anything I've ever studied. I can't imagine a situation he couldn't accommodate.
