Everything about the service was excellent. Came out same day, was on time and courtesy, very respectful of house (wore mask and shoe covers), completed installation of new garbage disposal and faucet quickly and all for a reasonable price. Definitely will consider for future plumbing services.

My overall experience with 24/7 was "ok." I needed to have a new (pre-purchased) garbage disposal installed. The 24/7 plumber tech was really great, he arrived within the 2 hour time slot as agreed, he was very courteous and professional and cleaned up when the installation was complete. The problem I had was with the pricing. This company is very clear that the tech will give a price quote upon arrival and if you agree to the price, the tech will move ahead with the job right then and there. So the tech looked up my job in his book of price quotes and gave me a price of $434 for installing a garbage disposal that I had already purchased from Lowes. That's right - $434 for a simple installation of a piece of equipment that I already had in my possession. Yes, I could have set up an installation from the Lowes tech for $119, but when I bought the disposal, the young guy who offered to install did not seem to have any experience with plumbing to do the job. I wanted a professional, plain and simple. At any rate, I thanked the 24/7 tech and apologized for wasting his time for nothing. The price was ridiculous and insane. The tech then said that he can give me a big discount and would do the job for $275. I said no thanks, that is still not going to work when I can go right back to Lowes for less than half his price. Then he said that he would do the job for $200 flat since he "was already here." I was tempted to say no even with a "discount" of 46% off of the original quote. But I agreed to the price, knowing that I was paying more than I should.
Bottom line - the workmanship was good, the installation job was done well and I was pleased with the work. I cannot, however, recommend this company because customers take the risk of getting ripped of, especially if in an emergency situation.
