I've taken six guitar lessons now with Bertrand and they were great! I like his approach and idea of applied theory rather than just music theory, and learning how songs work to be a better musician and not just a guitarist who plays things and doesn't understand how or why they work. Also of the long term goal of being able to express whatever you want with a guitar through the guitar. Thanks! Will be continuing with my lessons

It took me a while to find a teacher that had such a good feel for blues guitar but Erik fits the bill perfectly. Not only is he a killer player, but is great at building a practice routine perfect for whatever aspect of guitar you're trying to improve at. I'm only a few lesson in and am already looking at my guitar soloing in a whole new way.

Lessons with Soso have been lots of fun! He's made a great effort to tailor learning material to my interests in music and is able to break things down in ways that are easy for me to understand.
He was flexible and able to reschedule lessons for weeks where I was unable to make it at our regular time.

I cannot recommend Bradly enough! Honestly, I have been so happy with our lessons individual guitar lessons and my own progress. Last winter when I decided to start guitar lessons as a total beginner, and I found Bradly on Thumbtack and I have been SO impressed with his teaching style, patience, knowledge, professionalism, and super high quality instruction. I can't believe how many songs I have learned how to play already and I'm even reading music! He is extremely responsive when I have any questions and he is such a wonderful, supportive teacher. He very effectively uses technology to share music sheets, videos, notes, and calendar appointments that makes everything a breeze. I wish I could give more than 5 stars; he has been so great. If you are looking for an awesome guitar teacher who will meet you where you are at and support you to reach your goals, and who will always be kind and professional, Bradly is your guy!!

I've tried four different guitar teachers in the past. Their process was either too simple (just give me tabs and have me play chords nonstop) or too complex (here is a song with notes, memorize the notes and give it a whirl and you will be good eventually).
Cathy is a teacher at heart, with a professional performance career to also back it up. Beyond playing at various venues, she knows how to intuitively tailor a lesson plan to you, and can quickly adjust as needed. Her lessons are an absolute steal, and my lessons with her are both challenging and a refreshing time of the week that I look forward to. She also plays various instruments, and knows how to break down concepts so that newbies young and old can grok and learn them.
