Jonathan and Edgar were incredibly helpful, speedy, and informative. They explained to me my options and were wonderful to work with. They left a TINY bit of my bathroom a bit dirty (footprints/handprints) but I do think they tried their best to clean up. Would absolutely recommend them and hope to work them in the future with other plumbing issues

Jack was late coming from another job. Due to a complication with my plumbing, he couldn't install the toilet lift. He was professional about explaining the issue and put everything back the way it was. He did make a comment about coming this far for nothing, which I did not take well. I am very pleased with the installation of my hot water heater by Star Plumbing Services. I was able to get an appointment for the very next day and Vilhelm arrived early. The cost was reasonable and he even routed out a clogged drain that he found. He worked efficiently and carefully. Vilhelm also recommended getting a smaller heater that matched my needs and was less expensive.

I needed the wax ring on my toilet replaced, another company quoted me $300 for this simple repair. 2nd Chance plumbing, gave me an estimate for less than 1/2, showed up the next day (at the promised time), and did the job. No surprise charges (even though they did the work on a Saturday morning), no upselling, no bullshit- just what I needed.

They were very fairly priced for the work they did which included - plumbing and gas line repair, fixing an issue with our catch basin and filling it in, relocating our gas dryer and the vent, and some plumbing repair. They were able to turn around our request and begin work very quickly which was very nice given our inability in the past to get responses from companies on house projects that were small-ish like ours. The people we worked with were very respectful and got the job done without issue.
Our only complaints were that they had some internal communication hiccups and left a little bit of a mess behind. The communication issue led to ~1.5 days of work taking 3 due to lack of having needed parts up front, and people showing up before work they had dependencies on was completed. Not a big deal, as we are both working from home. Just meant more disruption as people had to keep leaving and returning for things. They also left some pieces of broken glass lying in the garden after they removed part of a window for the new dryer vent. Given we have a dog and chickens that like to dig in the garden, that was troubling and we're glad we found it before our pets did.
All in all, still good service and great value for the cost. If we use them again we'll be more clear about what we expect in terms of how they leave spaces after they work in them,

Had a moderate plumbing re-piping project. Damian was very prompt and gave the estimate the due diligence as we have an old house with some shotty work that was done in the past. He quoted me a very reasonable price and talked me through what to expect and possible outcomes once he opened up the drywall. He never made me feel unaware and was very communicative throughout the project. He noted and fixed a washer line that wasn't part of the project because he noticed it was should be replaced. He mentioned to me some other things he noticed when he opened up the walls that should be addressed (electrical) as a courtesy. Once he was done (not an easy job of moving washer dryer out of the way and busting through some plaster wall), he walked me through what he did, showed me all the piping, demo'ed how it's now working, he ran the water for a long time and washer to show it's now draining properly.
Overall, Damian was a lifesaver, did a thorough job with great demeanor and attitude.
