I'm an attorney in Arizona and needed to have someone served in Atlanta. I didn't know any process servers in that area so I submitted a request for quotes on Thumbtack. I received Milton's very reasonable quote not long after I submitted my request. Once I hired his company, Milton was very expedient and professional. The service was unsuccessful due to the party having moved. However, Milton did his due diligence and submitted his Affidavit of Attempted Service to me in a timely manner. I would definitely use his company again.

I reached out to the Justice League Atlanta after an extremely frustrating experience I had with a previous process server (also found on ThumbTack). I reached out to AJ and requested a call on a Sunday night after 8p so that I could have my questions answered prior to retaining their services. To my surprise I received a call almost immediately. My questions were simple and straight forward: Do you serve on Sundays? Do you serve during non-business hours (i.e. either early in the morning or very late at night)? Will you work with me to track down a target who is actively attempting to avoid being personally served? AJ’s response to my questions was, “the reason you hire a personal process service, is so that the needs you just described can be met.” After hearing that, I immediately hired Justice League Atlanta.
A note about evictions in GA. What I did not realize is an eviction notice MUST be personally served if you hope to be granted a money judgment from the Court. The only way that you can receive a money judgment from a “Tack and Mail” service, is if the Defendant files an Answer. Most tenants that owe you money will not go through the trouble of filing an Answer, because they don’t have a valid defense. You can still evict them, but good luck trying to get your money without a judgement from the Court.
My previous process server was apparently unaware of this stipulation in the Ga eviction law and strongly advocated for “Tack and Mail” because quite frankly, it’s the easiest form of service to perform. You simply tape the Dispossessory Affidavit to the door of the Defendant, and mail a copy to their last known address. Despite how easy this is, my previous process server managed to screw this up by taping the wrong affidavit to the door and then flatly refused to go back out and retrieve it, prior to the Defendant receiving it. I had to go get it myself, to avoid tipping off the Defendant that he indeed would be getting served. As I said, this took an already tedious process and made it EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. I immediately fired that process server.
Anyway, back to Justice League Atlanta… their process is extremely professional. They start by sending you an intake form requesting as much information as you can provide so that the Defendant can be served. It did not take them very long to track down and serve the Defendant in person at his place of employment. Justice League Atlanta also electronically filed proof of service with the Court to certify that the Defendant had been personally served. Throughout the process, I was provided with updates and feedback on their efforts. Communication was brief, professional and on-point. Based on my experience, I strongly suggest that you hire Justice League Atlanta for your process service needs.

So thankful for this company. I reached out to Justice League Atlanta this morning around 7:50am after another process server tried to extort me out of more money. I had been trying to get someone served for months to NO avail. The person who needed to be served had a court hearing this morning at 10am and I knew this would be the perfect, and probably the only opportunity to get those papers in his hands. I’m not sure of the the young lady’s name, but after reaching out to Justice League Atlanta through thumbtack, she responded to me almost immediately and gave me a phone call. I gave her all the information, she sent an invoice, I paid the invoice, and literally at 10:08am I got a text from her saying that “the defendant was served”. Music to my ears!! After almost 5 months, and hundreds of dollars later, this company got it done for me in two hours!! I literally wanted to cry when I seen the text! I am beyond grateful for their prompt and professional service! Not only that, but the price was amazing for something so last minute! I can’t thank them enough! I’d give 100 stars if I could. Absolutely AMAZING! Exceeded my expectations.

I am shocked by the positive reviews! My experience was the exact opposite. If your court case is important to you, DO NOT trust it to Milton Nolan of Freshvisions Legal Service LLC.
This business is so sloppy and unorganized, they actually served the wrong legal documents after confirming their receipt of what I had sent via email.
When I attempted to bring the error to Mr. Nolan’s attention, he stopped answering his phone and refused to take immediate actions to correct his error. This put me in a situation where I had to drive an hour and a half to remove incorrect legal documents that were left taped to the door. That’s right, after informing Mr. Nolan that he served the wrong paperwork, he flatly refused to take immediate action that evening to correct his careless mistake. He sent me a terse text message dictating to me when he would get around to correcting his stupid mistake. Of course by that time, the target would have already received a heads up that he was being served legal papers, which would make it that much more difficult to have him served. You would think Mr. Nolan would recognize this, but apparently he does not care.
You should also know that Mr. Nolan will only perform his service when he deems it convenient for him. He does not serve on Sundays. He is also reluctant to serve on holidays. He does not serve early in the morning (before 10a) and he does not serve later in the evening. It appears he only wants to serve during hours were the target is least likely to be reached.
This completely defeats the purpose of hiring a private process server. I found Mr Nolan to be highly unprofessional, lackadaisical in his approach, disorganized, slipshod and thoughtless.
When I informed him that I lost confidence in his service, he flatly refused to refund my money, pointing instead to a stipulation in his invoice which read, “monies paid were non-refundable once the first service attempt had begun.” This completely ignores his mistake which he refused to take responsibility for. This is not only unethical, it should be illegal!
Based on my experience, it’s foolish to do business with Freshvisions Legal Seevice LLC.
