Unprofessional and Untrustworthy – A Warning Against DPerez Plumbing
I recently hired DPerez Plumbing through Thumbtack, and I must caution anyone considering their services. My experience was nothing short of abysmal, filled with unprofessional behavior and an utter lack of integrity.
From the start, the work performed was subpar, failing to meet even the most basic standards of quality. When I requested an invoice – a standard and reasonable request – the situation escalated to an alarming degree. The wife of the technician who came to my residence not only refused to provide an invoice but threatened to call the police, insisting that I pay without any proper documentation.
After payment, she further stated that no one ever requests an invoice and continued to refuse to provide one. This is a clear red flag, suggesting a lack of transparency and possibly even unethical business practices.
I would strongly urge anyone considering DPerez Plumbing to think twice. There are many professional and reliable plumbing services out there, and based on my experience, DPerez Plumbing is not one of them. Protect yourself, your home, and your investment by choosing a company that values honesty, transparency, and quality work.
Bottom Line: If you value professionalism, integrity, and clear communication, I recommend looking elsewhere. DPerez Plumbing has shown that they are not worthy of your trust or your business.

Needed to unclog bathrooms drainage. Sebastian started to say plumbing was wrong without even looking at his camera. Then, climbed to the roof, set the camera and said drain is clogged and due to the plumbing being terrible done he was not able to unclog the drainage. Removed the toilet and tries with camera and same, unable to unclog due to plumbing being terrible wrong. He decided not to go to main drainage in the backyard. Then left saying he would provide me a report as per my request. Was at home for 3 hours and charged us $450 ($350 for 2 hours, $150 per hour.
A few hours later another plumber came and unclogged the drainage within minutes.
Talked to Sebastian and only refunded $100.
This is not a fair nor good service. Very disappointed.

We absolutely LOVE Jose & Samuel from Eagle Eye Plumbing!!! I am so grateful they were available so quickly and they did an amazing job! I’ll be calling them for future services for my mom & highly recommend them. We were able to communicate well because Samuel speaks fluent English. We don’t have to worry about leaks in my 78th year old moms home.

BEWARE, I don’t usually post negative reviews but have come to appreciate reading from others so thought my experience may be helpful to someone else. This company Eagle Eye Plumbing also known as Vleyz Maintenance Service or Vleyz Plumbing Service. A father (didn’t get his name has no English understanding but seems to be primary plumber) and son (Yomel Reyes moderate English understanding but provides the translation), duo came out to quote the job of connecting a stackable washer/dryer in laundry area of vacant condo. Work was agreed to and completed. We did not test water after completion because I was instructed to wait 2 hours before turning the water back on. I waited 2 days returned to the condominium with a cleaning lady to prepare it for move it. Turned water on and proceeded cleaning and working on other parts of the condo. About 1-2 hours later we received a loud banging on the door the building maintenance person was informing that the lower units had a ceiling leak. We immediately turned water off. We also noticed there was some water gradually accumulating on the floor near the laundry surrounding area in my unit. I contacted Yomel who informed it would be a few hours before he could have someone come to me. Contacted another plumbing service they came within the hour and repaired the pipe. Provided a diagnosis of what was done wrong. I waited over 9+ hours for Yomel or anyone to show up to see the damage in my unit and the others also to see the new plumbing work. After I asked Yomel for a partial refund of what I paid them especially considering I had to pay additional for the correction and a copy of their insurance to provide to my HOA, Yomel completely stopped responding and answering my calls. Not sure why a reputable plumbing company wouldn’t stand behind the integrity of their work and when challenged by another plumbing company they would go missing in action. This suggests maybe they are not as stand up as you would want a contractor to be who is working in your home. So thought I’d share my experience with the below:

Gentleman arrived on time, did a great job and was able to match price of other previous plumbing company but left me the hole open in the ceiling sheetrock of my downstairs neighbor because he doesn't do that type of job so had to go to home depot on a sunday afternoon, buy the materials and hire two man from the streets to finish the job which could have been nice of him to be clear from the beginning but maybe it was my fault for trusting that would complete the job entirely since was in a rush to fix leak issue from my shower in the 2nd floor to downstair neighbor. At the end was very unprofessional with an attitude when i asked him to give a formal receipt with warranty of his work but said the job was too small that if anything happens he would just show up to fix it and take his word for it. I explained that super unprofessional no matter the job. Dont recommend to hire but if do so make sure there is no assumptions of work completion and final price since got bothered when mentioned i was shopping around for quotes on the job but he stated was doing me a favor. Good work, bad service.
