We used their services for couples photography for wedding and after wedding. The photographer was ahead of time and ready to go. Had a great experience shooting for various range of photography and the photographer provided valuable insights into lightning, pose, background and other aspects of great outdoor photography. We really enjoyed it. The photos turned out amazing! Very good pricing for the valuable service provided as well. Great quality photos!

Darren was wonderful - we booked him to take surprise engagement photos less than a week ahead of the proposal, and he was extremely communicative, kind and helpful. Nandy is the first professional I have hired for a service using Thumbtack, and the entire experience has been nothing short of excellent. For one, Nandy comes highly recommended based on the reviews here, and once I did initiate conversation, I realized he is very quick to respond back. From the very beginning, Nandy was very generous with his time; he actually met up with me in advance to plan and discuss lighting. In respect to photography, Nandy is one talented fellow. The photos he took were amazing. Nandy is creative and had many ideas to share when he was taking the photos. Nandy arrived early, and he was ready to go right away. The turnaround time to deliver the edited photos was within a couple of days. My significant other reached out requesting for additional photos, and within a day, Nandy provided additional edited photos. Mark and I worked out the details in just minutes via text and email. Mark confirmed the date, time, location a couple of days in advance. He arrived on time to our event appropriately dressed with a great attitude and a very pleasant demeanor. He interacted well and often with our guests to obtain good photos for our memories. I haven't seen the proofs yet but I fully expect to see that Mark got some good shots.

We had an absolutely wonderful time working with Alex! She photographed our wedding ceremony and then a couple's shoot around the Dupont Circle neighborhood. Alex had great ideas for setting and the pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. I could not ask for better souvenirs of our wedding day. Alfonso was great to work with. We booked him on short notice for our wedding shower, and he did a great job. He got candid shots of all of our guests and captured all of the important parts of the event. We also appreciated that he took some time to pull us out to take some shots of us as a couple. Also, he quickly delivered photos before the promised delivery date. Overall, he was responsive, friendly, and professional.

I can't say enough good things about Luis! From the first moment I made his acquaintance on Thumbtack, he was responsive and answered all my questions. He reached out to confirm the event a couple of days beforehand, which made me feel at ease. He showed up to the vow renewal early, was extremely polite and professional to all guests, and even helped with a little set up (not expected but very much appreciated). He did a phenomenal job capturing every moment the bride wanted and rounding up family members for group photos. He kept everyone on schedule too. I found Angela while I was looking for a photographer for a surprise proposal. All I needed was something simple: someone who could hide until the right moment and snap the shot of me on one knee. What I got with Angela was better than I could have imagined. Not only did she work with me in the weeks leading up to the proposal, offering alternative ideas for a more successful surprise, but she was flexible enough to keep in contact with me the day of when we found out my dream spot was under construction. In the end, Angela caught the moment perfectly and my now fiancé was none the wiser the whole time.
Angela was a joy to work with throughout the one hour session walking around the monuments and making us feel comfortable. She helped pose us while always asking if there were any specific shots we wanted to have captured. Her ideas for photos came out spectacular and we couldn’t be more thrilled. In the end, she got the over a hundred photos back to us in less time than she originally estimated, and she even threw in a surprise video. We’re so happy to have this important moment in our lives documented in such a beautiful way, and I cannot recommend Angela enough for an engagement or couple photo shoot.
