I did not even talk to him; it was all done through the Thumbtack app (finding, sending problem details, scheduling, connecting, and paying). He replaced our broken garbage disposal. He was very professional and highly responsive. My renters are happy now because of the quick turnaround (booked him on Oct 7th at 5 PM, and he finished the job by 11 AM the next day (Oct 8th morning). Thank you, Thumtack and Mac. Benjamin was very polite and professional. On the day of our appointment, there was a very bad storm passing through our area. Benjamin called an hour before our appointment to let us know he was running a little late due to poor driving conditions. He actually arrived only a few minutes late. What friendly, nice guy! He did a great job removing our old garbage disposal and installing a new one we had purchased from Costco. It was very fast and he left the area very clean when he was done. We had another leak in our master bathroom and we asked if he would mind taking a look at it. He graciously said he would, and a few minutes later the leak was fixed and he only asked us for an additional $5. What a deal! His rates are the best around - everyone else asked for a MINIMUM of twice his rate. Some were even 4x higher. Do yourself a favor and hire BG Carpentry. You won’t be disappointed. We will definitely hire him again!
