Working with Belicia for our wedding dance was amazing and so much fun. We did 5 lessons total, and one of the lessons was a quick Father-daughter dance session. She helped us coordinate a 2+ minute dance with cute moves and taught us step by step in a way that was easy to follow and understand.
We had a great time taking these dance lessons with her and would highly recommend this to any of our friends getting married!

We had Emily help us with our wedding dance. We took four hours of dance lessons. She taught us the nightclub two step and choreographed a start and end to our dance. I'd highly recommend Emily to any other couples. We had a lot of fun and felt very prepared and excited by the end of our lessons!

We worked with Tais for our wedding first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. She is so professional, punctual, responsive, and a good listener as we were first-time dancers. She taught us all good moves and made us comfortable with all dances. We did well on our wedding day, and all credits go to Tais for her attention on the small stuff and working on our moves. Thank you to her, and I would suggest if someone wants to hire her or work with her for a dance lesson. I would say it is worth it.

Walking into our first lesson, Emily immediately made us feel extremely comfortable. She is amazing at teaching dance: professional, while also being super friendly and personable. We both have two left feet, so we were honestly shocked at how excited (and not nervous) we were to perform our first dance in front of our friends and family. We ended up doing 5 lessons (1 hr each) and were able to get our 3 minute dance down pat!
On the wedding day, so many of our guests loved our first dance! We will remember it forever. :) Thank you so much Emily!!!

She's an experienced teacher--warm, friendly and unintimidating. (Did I mention that she cracks jokes? It takes the edge off, which is a godsend for a nervous beginner like me.) She helped me work out dance moves for my wedding. Now I'm taking personal rumba lessons. I also enjoy Metronome, the dance studio where she teaches, which is in an old, Italian social club in Potrero. I recommend Emily for anyone who wants to take dance lessons, from salsa to ballroom.

Nikolai was incredible! We decided to take dance lessons just 2 weeks before our wedding, and had a tight time frame to work within. He was able to accommodate us right away but adjusting his normal schedule, and was a pleasure to work with. Nikolai gave us some helpful tips and pointers while we learned the dance, and then some "bonus" tips to make sure we looked elegant and graceful. We booked Nisha for a couple months worth of lessons for a surprise first dance and Bollywood remix for our wedding reception. I cannot overstate how gamechanging her classes were, not just for our wedding but for our future. I was previously the person who never participated in any kind of dance, even garba! Now I am looking up dance studios and think this is going to be a part of how we participate in future activities together.
Nisha is an incredible teacher - she is patient and kind and easy to work with. But she's also demanding in the right ways and pushed us to go beyond our comfort zone to dance on another level. She taught us a traditional western style first dance segment and combined it with Bollywood fusion for our second and third segments. She even mixed the song for us in a way that impressed our DJ!
Our family and friends were completely blown away by our dance routine - couldn't have asked for a better result! Seriously, these are the best dance lessons you can find - Nisha is awesome!

My wife and I worked with Angela to design our wedding dance back for our wedding in April. We did about 5 or 6 lessons I think.
She took what we were looking for (something fun but not overly choreographed) and patiently introduced us to all of the moves we needed to learn. As some of us are less rhythmic, she was able to adjust the dance as we needed over time and gave us so so many tips for getting it right. She would take videos for us to review when we went home to practice, which was so helpful for me 😂
Most importantly, she made the lessons exceedingly fun for us and our wedding dance went amazingly. Got so many compliments from friends and family, and we can’t wait to watch our wedding video over and over again!

WOW. What a special human and teacher Hebert is. We were so incredibly lucky to find Hebert a short week before our wedding for dance lessons + choreography. What originally started as sessions for just my dad and I, quickly turned into dance lessons/choreography for my husband/mom (mother/son dance), and my husband and I because of how amazing and fun Hebert is. Patient, kind, and talented Hebert took on the challenge to choreograph a 3-song dance for my Dad and I, a routine for my husband/mom, and my husband and I...a short week before my wedding. The dances were a huge success, but most importantly, we created the most special memories in the time we were practicing. We were often in tears of laughter/joy throughout the process. I will hang on to the memories my Dad + I made for my entire life. A huge, and heartfelt thank you to Hebert. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Marge is amazing! We worked with Marge for our wedding First Dance and are extremely happy. We started with no dancing experience whatsoever and Marge was able to help us choreograph a beautiful, intimate and graceful performance to showcase our skills! Every dance class is a fun time and we genuinely are so excited every week to learn and practice. Marge is thoughtful and comes well prepared to each lesson, having listened to the next section of our song so she doesn't take up any of class time to come up with the moves. She is a great instructor and is very knowledgeable because the routine she choreographs is very tailored to the style, speed, and intonations of our song choice. Marge has a lot of great ideas but also takes our feedback into account. She is great to work with and we're so happy we went with Marge and the Fascinating Rhythm Dance School!

10 stars!! We were in crunch time for our wedding and wanted a lesson for our first dance. I noticed all of the positive reviews for Timba Heat and I am SO glad I inquired. I cannot begin to share how pleased we were with our experience!!
Hebert was quick to respond and called right on time. I had a last-minute conflict for our call and he was flexible to call me later that evening. Hebert is kind, listened to our lesson needs, and was incredibly accommodating!
- I wanted a portion of the song to be edited and he did it PERFECTLY!
- My fiance was returning from his bachelor party the evening before and Hebert was able to come to our home for the lesson :)
- He brought his own speaker and had clearly prepared (understood our vision/mood, researched our venue etc.)
Dancing can be frustrating to those that are less experienced or feeling the stress of last-minute planning. Hebert was patient and supportive- we had an absolute blast!
Lastly, we were nervous that we were going to get cold feet/struggle to remember as we get closer to our day and asked if Hebert would be able to send a voice note of the steps. He went above and beyond! He sent a video saying the steps while dancing to the music. We are so grateful.
Thanks to Timba Heat, we are walking into our wedding day confident and cannot wait to impress our guests. 1000000% recommend Timba Heat to anyone- in fact, I shared my experience with my team today and suggested that we do a corporate event.
