Hi everyone! My name is Belicia and I am a competitive ballroom dancer, choreographer, and instructor. I am also a yoga, breathing/meditation, Pilates, and personal training instructor.
Wedding Dance:
You and your fiancé choose the song, and I will teach you the moves to custom-tailored, original choreography and help bring your wedding dance vision to life! My wedding dance portfolio can be found on my website.
Private Dance Lessons:
I offer private ballroom dance lessons for both singles and couples in the International Latin style (cha-cha, samba, rumba, jive, paso doble) as well as social dancing (salsa and bachata). Whether you are looking to dance as a hobby, for fitness, or looking to advance your technical and performance skills, I would love to help you achieve your dancing goals!
Parties/Events:
Looking for entertainment for a party or corporate event? I teach salsa and line dancing for large groups, and also perform gigs with my ballroom dance partner.
Dance Fitness:
I teach a format of dance fitness called LaBlast, or partner-free ballroom dance formatted for fitness. I currently teach ballroom fitness in various locations along the Peninsula (San Francisco, Redwood City, Santa Clara).
Burlesque/Heels Dance:
Beyond ballroom, I also specialize in commercial heels dance, colloquially known as Burlesque. I began teaching Burlesque in college, where I started my own Burlesque dance club. I continue to teach group classes at various locations in the Bay Area and love empowering women to feel confident in their movement ability.
Yoga
I received my 200H teacher training certification in 2022 and have since been teaching vinyasa yoga at various corporate and community gyms (Bay Club, Equinox, Oracle, Google). I offer private yoga instruction catered to your personal needs and fitness goals. I also teach breath work and meditation to give my clients a holistic yoga experience, bringing them to a state of mental relaxation and emotional well-being.
Personal Training
I received my personal training certification in 2023 and currently train clients at Bay Club. I bring my expertise garnered from ten years as a competitive gymnast to clients and teach a combination of stretching, calisthenics, and weight training to craft a personalized fitness program that helps clients achieve their fitness goals (weight loss, cardiovascular endurance, stretching and mobility, increased muscle definition, and more).
