Great experience with Reverb. Very communicative, easy to book. And my pianolessons were great.

She assesses a child of his aptitude and level to organize the lesson book and plan for individual pianolessons. I am very impressed by the questions she asked a d the materials shared to prepare for the initial meeting. She is a reliable, understanding and professional piano tutor that would love to recommend to my close families who are looking for a real piano tutor. Thank you for the consultation and understanding!

Alex has been a pleasure to work with. He knows a ton about jazz piano and the lessons are well-organized. After a couple lessons, I've already learned a bunch of new stuff.

I had a little experience playing growing up and have enjoyed rediscovering piano with Dan. He's good at keeping a structure across lessons, motivating with new pieces and interesting drills. He's also super responsive to questions between lessons

Dan has been wonderful with my boys (ages 4&6). They started pianolessons with him About two months ago and my boys have been engaged, interested and excited about learning. Dan starts by teaching them concepts and makes each lesson fun and full of surprises. The boys really enjoy learning from him and I hope to continue to grow the relationship between Dan, my boys and the piano!

I've had two lessons with Ken so far, after returning from a 10 year hiatus from playing piano. He has been able to simplify aspects of piano playing that were previously unlearnable for me in just two hours! Ken is a passionate teacher, who makes learning fun. I'd happily recommend him to anyone wanting to learn piano and have fun doing it.

My 10 year old daughter has taken both voice and pianolessons from multiple professionals over the last 5 years. Until Dan came along, she never uttered the words.... “I’m so excited for my lesson this week!!!” She hates it when she misses a lesson because of travel/school conflicts and is always eager for her next lesson with Dan. We use him for both voice and piano for a full hour each week and it’s the best money we have spent given how he instills enthusiasm to learn the art of music with our daughter. Without hesitation, we would recommend him to anyone, children and adults alike!

Jeffrey is an outstanding piano teacher! I have been taking lessons with him for around a year and a half, and over that time I have grown a ton as a piano player; he has patiently taught me numerous aspects of jazz piano theory, helped me improve my piano technique tremendously, and guided me to mastery on many pieces in different musical styles (jazz, classical, jewish, and more). He is a knowledgable in many different areas of piano, and music in general, and strikes a great balance between pushing you to learn through theory + technique and having fun learning new songs + improvising.

I just started my pianolessons with Max! While I wasn’t sure how virtual lessons would be, Max was so great! He was able to help me figure out how to set everything up, and had me learning to read and even play a little bit of music at the end of lesson 1. For anyone new or looking to get back into learning to play an instrument, I definitely recommend Max!

I've been learning piano from an app but I was getting nowhere. After getting a few lessons from Dr. Ko, I immediately understood the flaws of learning from an app and the importance of having a good piano teacher. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about piano which made the whole learning process fun and motivating. From Dr. Ko, I understood even the simplest music pieces may sound very beautiful with correct technique.

Jillian has been great. The kids are enjoying themselves and she is very easy to work with. I would recommend her highly for pianolessons. I still need to try the pastries but all outstanding so far.

Francis is a great piano teacher and I've really enjoyed working with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and puts a lot of thought and effort into our lessons. I've learned more than I thought I would in such a short amount of time which I think is a testament to how great of a teacher Francis is. I look forward to continuing to work with him and I highly recommend Francis for anybody looking for a piano teacher!!

Kelly’s approach to music theory had me playing chords and REAL SONGS (with both hands!) by the end of my very first pianolesson EVER. He’s patient and encouraging, while pushing you out of your comfort zone. Do NOT hesitate to book him!

We had our first pianolesson with Sean and he was wonderful. We met him at the studio and he was right on time and very professional. Sean worked great with the twins and took time to evaluate their playing ability. We will be working with Sean moving forward and are expecting great results.

Finding David is the best thing that has happened in my pursuit to learn the piano. I am 35 years old and I have tried to learn Piano ON and OFF through in-person and online lessons, but never fully succeeded in learning the pieces I wanted to play. Part of the reason for the past failures was, I had no interest to learn the kinder garden rhymes, which is what most of my instructors in the past have used as way to teach the Piano and slowly progress to your goal pieces.
What really singles out David here is, he breaks this traditional way of teaching and learning piano and he starts the lessons with your goal pieces first. I was definitely doubtful in the beginning about how this is going to work but in a span of just 6 weeks, David made me play my very first goal piece. He accomplishes these superfast results through a ton of proven logical methodologies that he has developed over the years.
All my friends and family are very impressed about what I was able to do in a span of just 6 weeks. I am beyond grateful to have found David. If you are looking to learn piano in the most efficient way possible, David is your instructor. Every single bit of information that you receive from his classes will reshape your piano journey to a whole different level.

I'm having a great time learning from Juan. I travel about an hour and a half to him from SF as I wanted an excuse to leave the city once a week. But I'm getting a lot out of the lessons and it's worth the long BART ride and walk. Juan is very knowledgeable about music theory and I appreciate his connecting technique and musicality with something theoretical or historical. I have taken mostly pianolessons but I tried out one voice lesson, which was also great. I would like to try another soon.

I’ve been going to jeff for a couple months and as a complete beginner in my 20’s he has really been able to improve my playing. He’s also really patient and has great exercises during his sessions. Not only does he teach you how to play but he’s also very knowledgeable on the history of the piano. After every session he gives out a lesson to practice at home. I would highly recommend him if you truly want to learn how to play the piano.

Both my daughter and I knew some piano and singing before starting our lessons with Dan. Now he teaches piano to me; guitar and singing to my daughter. He observed our abilities (still beginner here!) on our first meeting and talked about our goals. I told him that for me, a mother of 4, I can’t have too much homework, and that I probably won’t have a lot of time to practice. I want to learn in a fun way but still want to be challenged. So far, we are doing just that! As for my daughter, she really loves her guitar and singing lessons, and having so much fun with Dan, and our family loves listening to their sessions from our family room…it’s like listening to a concert!
I would totally recommend Dan! He is very knowledgeable, very professional, patient, friendly, gives notes after each session (so you don’t need to write down anything during lessons and just focus on playing), and gives specific activities and instructions on what to practice for the next lesson.

Francis is an excellent instructor who has made piano fun for me. During the first sessions, we spent time discussing goals, trying out new things, and diving into repertoire. He puts time, thought, and effort into each lesson to help me move at the right pace, and is always able to break down complexity into digestible pieces. He is also super responsive and accommodating with my schedule, and adjusts lessons accordingly so that they're always encouraging and helpful, never overwhelming.
The virtual lessons over zoom are great, Francis has multiple cameras at different angles that are super helpful. He frequently shares notes, recordings, and pointers and responds to any questions I have throughout the week.

I wanted to learn how to improvise better after having played classical piano for 8 years. After a few lessons Im getting really comfortable! Jeffrey works at my pace, and provides examples from the greats of jazz music to inform how I ought to think about scales, intervals, and improvisation. Great teacher and I cant wait for more.

Clifford is a very knowledgeable and experienced pianist, with expertise in classical, jazz, theory, and pop. He also brought helpful theory books to complement the piano playing work.
We did seem to have a few scheduling issues (last-minute rescheduling or getting a late start), and he occasionally got sidetracked during the lessons by showing embellishments or unintentionally moving on to more advanced techniques.
