Andrew is very knowledgeable and paying attention to details as a flute teacher. I started taking lessons with him without any theory background. He helps me build foundation, and his teaching makes me feel "closer" to music. When you stuck at a point (e.g., high pitches), he'd be happy to push you a bit and help you get there (I'm still in the process here lol). Besides, he also has a very cool personality and always responds to my messages of questions very quickly. He didn't mind giving a lesson at my apartment after my surgery, even though I probably won't become a professional as an adult student.

Andrew is fantastic. He has been giving private lessons on the alto saxophone to my 4th grade son for the past year... and is a solid dude. He can start from square one with your student and get them learning right away. He challenges his students to improve and lets them know what is holding them back. He is authentic and accountable and hardworking.

My son and his classmate took saxophone lessons with Andrew to be ready for Fall Band in 5th grade. He is straight forward and they learned fast from him. I highly recommend him.

Andrew is very gentle, patient, and talented. He listens and answers all the questions we have since we are new to flute. Not only our daughter can play two songs now. I think that by listening to his lessons while I was in and out the room, I also understand more about flute. That is giving me chance to help our daughter during her daily 15 to 20 minutes practice. Great teachers bring out the best in their students. I am looking forward to seeing and hearing more flute songs playing by our daughter and Andrew.

I enjoy Andrew's teaching style. He quickly assessed my current skill level and gave me tips that already immediately improved my playing.
