First, I booked a free session with Mr. Alex, and he explained to me how we were going to work. He recommended that I sign up for an InPronunci premium subscription. It is 1-on-1 accent training, which is what I really wanted. I have one session with him a month, and the rest I practice on InPronunci. In my personal opinion, it is super effective. At first, I was a bit skeptical because I have tried a lot of apps like BoldVoice and ELSA, and they ruined my experience. I never got the results I wanted. With InPronunci, it is totally different. First, Mr. Alex explained how to work with the course and InPronunci. I started my first session myself, but Mr. Alex asked me to send him all my practice through WhatsApp. Then I started to get some feedback from him. I finished Session One and then booked 1-on-1 accent training with him. He polished everything that was left and that I was not able to correct myself. Honestly, I am impressed with how it works. He provides those details that a normal person can't notice. That's why now I understand why I never succeeded with the BoldVoice app. The InPronunci course is very uniquely built. It is a whole system for how to learn speech and develop pronunciation skills. It is very structured and step-by-step. I am in control of what I learn, and Mr. Alex guides me on how I learn! I think the most effective feature in InPronunci is the 2D articulation simulator. It is like a training tool for your mouth. Once I saw the simulator, I wanted to move my mouth exactly like that. Awesome technology. My wife is an American, and she was listening to me and was surprised by how accurately I am developing an American sound. I showed her the 2D simulator, and she said that it is excellent and that is what she is doing for the sound /t/. I am in Session Two right now, and I enjoy each lesson from there. The pronunciation instructions make me think about what to focus on, almost like Mr. Alex does when I am with him in a 1-on-1 session. My opinion is that it seems Mr. Alex took his teaching style and built an app that works the same way he does. I really like that! I highly recommend the InPronunci + Mr. Alex experience.
