I attended English language training by Lori when I moved to US from India. Lori helped me to understand the language more in the cultural context of Texas in particular and US in general. As I was interested in the historical, geographical and cultural aspects of this part of the world, she gave me great insights into those topics as well. While participating in a student gathering organized by Lori, it was clear that all of them had similar great experience with her guidance. For anyone moving to Plano area, regardless of age or current level of competence with the language, I would highly recommend taking Lori's classes to get accustomed to living here.

Lori is the best English teacher I have ever had, she is empathetic and understanding, she always has the best attitude, her classes are so personal and effective, she always has the best resources for your learning. She was very helpful in understanding the American culture and the Texas way of life, which is very important for those of us who come from another culture.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $75 per hour and recommend a 60-minute online lesson once or twice a week.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the student before any agreement is reached. I want to find out why learning English is important to you and the goals you want to reach. I want you to meet me to get a feel for the type of teacher I am. Learning English means forming a relationship so that we have topics to discuss and get to know each other.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I finished my TESOL Certificate in January of 2018. My background is in Engineering so I have a different English background than a Linguist.
