FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give a discounted rate for more than 2 classes per week or if you make payment in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first class, which is free, is an Assessment of your English. After speaking together, reading out loud (and possibly taking an English level test) I will have a good idea about how many classes it will take to improve your accent. I also let you know what areas we will be working on. It may be pronouncing the TH, R or A sounds or learning how to link English like native speakers do.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor’s degree from Boston University where I graduated cum laude (with honors) and a 120-hour TESOL Certificate in English as a Second Language. I am also certified by the National Tutoring Association and an SAT/ACT certified tutor.
