Wow! I wish I had words to express my respect for Adhemar Castenada of Bunnies Plumbing. I had a slowly draining kitchen sink that I thought I could fix myself with a drain auger. No such luck. I couldn't even get the cap off the outside pipe to get the auger in. I gave up and called Bunnies. Adhemar quickly responded to my request with an offer to come by after his east bay call in the late afternoon. He checked the sink, knew how to get the cap off the outside pipe, ran a camera down and discovered muck and sludge in the pipe. High pressure cleaning might help but also might be too much for the 40 year old pipe to handle. He went into the crawl space and determined the pipe would probably hold but if it didn't, the cost would be high. Since I'm a 90 year old retiree it would be a huge hardship to incur that expense. Adhemar ran water through the area while manipulating the camera cable and released a large amount of junk that was holding the sink drains back and put the cap back on the outside pipe. He wouldn't take any money for the job but asked that if I had future trouble to call him back. I have spent my life in sales and have always believed that if a salesman put himself in the customer's place and did what was best for the customer, he'd be a success. Customers remember and reward that salesman. I think that is just the attitude exhibited by Adhemar.
