Had David come over to install a storm door with a dog door for our backyard. I was under the impression the door was assembled when I bought it from home depot. It was not. David not only assembled the door, but fit it on the frame perfectly. The person who installed the previous door did a horrible job, but David's work was perfect. The door was study and flush on the frame. I will be passing his info along to friends. You would be hard pressed to find a better handyman in the Peninsula.

David was on time, tackled a door that would not open due to a broken lock, carefully avoided damaging the door jamb, and while it took longer than anticipated, successfully got the door open. Honest and straightforward and a nice guy to deal with, Recommended.

Vlad was fantastic. I called him to fix 3 doors coming off hinges and squeaking. He finished them quickly, then fixed two cabinet doors and one heavy dining room door, also in quick succession. He was efficient and communicative, cared about the quality of his work, and fixed all our doors, including ones the painters said “couldn’t be fixed”. We strongly recommend his services.

I had hoped his reviews were honest enough to live up to my expectations as my project wasn’t typical or necessarily easy ( to say the least). After interviewing 4 door installers I chose David. I was very worried because some of the handymen I interviewed only spoke of how very difficult this might be. One said he was going to have to tear out my brick facing! The iron door is over 400 lbs 52x82 including the frame
I did not sleep the night before after I spoke with yet another contractor who had installed similar doors. He offered me detailed
problems that may be presented. David woke up to my notes!
He took my notes and assured me that he did his homework and while it was challenging he was well prepared. I stayed out of the way and in about 6 hours the old door was gone, the area was cleaned and I was blown away with my new door! Perfection! I also liked that the price did not change. We agreed on a price plus materials. He gave a clear estimate of what that would be . Showed me the receipts. He was on budget.
I would not hesitate calling David for any project big or small. He has great communication skills, talented and is one of the hardest working craftsman I have ever met!

Goes above and beyond to get the job done - even working until 11pm, cleaning out a drain I didn’t know was clogged, figuring out the source of a pipe leak and thoroughly cleaning wherever he worked. Fixed doors, repaired a ceiling and wall, painted and other odds and ends. Kept adding on more jobs and nothing was ever a problem for David. Plus fair pricing. Will definitely continue using him!

David did a fine job. He checked out the project first, then bought the supplies. The job was much more complicated than he had thought-- we had an old fashioned door frame that was all of a piece, and to replace it would have meant taking out the whole thing, but David stuck with it and replaced and matched the style of the part that was broken. He had given us a low quote, and was going to do the work for the price he had quoted, except for a bit more for materials. We paid him extra because he honored his word and did an excellent job. I highly recommend him.
