Booked Bubbles & Face Painting to entertain children during a family picnic. The artist they booked for us was very accommodating and patient with the children. He noticed some children already had their faces painted (courtesy of another family at the work) and offered balloon art to those children. I will be booking again

Kimberly arrived early to set up and stayed longer to make sure everyone got their faces painted. She did an amazing job and I'd use her again if the opportunity arose

She did an excellent job, all the kids loved their face paintings and so did the parents. Even though she was running close to her time of departure she made sure at least all the kids got a little something on their face so no kids were left out! I would definitely recommend Kimberly for your child's party and I would definitely hire her again! Thanks again Kimberly :)

Jennifer is great, Kids loved all their paintings even the adults did too!! She has been our face painter for all our parties that we have had for our kids and she never disappoints us!! Thank you Jennifer for always being so sweet and attentive with my guest!!

The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Police Department's 2nd Annual Halloween Trunk or Treat was another huge success with thanks to so many people. The department showed up in full force to provide a safe, fun, and positive Halloween event for the communities near the South Hayward and Coliseum stations. Thank you so much to everyone who provided donations and also to those who attended the event with their families. Everyone’s participation was appreciated and contributed to the success of Trunk or Treat.
At our South Hayward BART station, we were lucky enough to have two special guests: The Hayward Fire Department, Station #7 and the most incredible artist and face painter: Sarah Joy of Joyful Expressions. From the time Sarah Joy arrived, there was a long line of excited children waiting to have their faces painted. While they patiently waited, Sarah Joy provided pictures of her designs for the children to choose. She brought smiles to faces of the children and their parents as they watched sons transformed into batman and pirates or daughter into butterflies or Dia de Los Muertos. Sarah worked quickly and was able to accommodate a continuous line of children for 2 hours without any break. She was the highlight of our 2017 Trunk or Treat. We would highly recommend Sarah Joy and Joyful Expressions to other police agencies, community groups or families looking for a dependable, professional and creative face painter to add to your events.

I wish I didn't have to write this review because as a former waitress I do not like speaking negatively of people in the service industry. But as an event coordinator I must say the truth.
Jennifer gave me a speedy quote ( which was awsome). I requested a phone call via Thumbtack which she accepted on Aug. 9th. She chose 130 on Aug. 16th. I wanted to go over small details pertinent to the parties success, ask about if its ok to plant a tip jar besides her, ask what size table I should provide her, etc.
After waiting for about 15 mins for her call I emailed her. She responded by saying we already spoke and now she's booked for my party. I pointed out her error and noted that Thumbtack sent a telephone call reminder yesterday. She then said she was sorry but had spoken to someone else with my same name (Niema Quiet) who was having a party the same day??? Umm ok? She did offer to come at 1230 for 90 mins. Too bad the party begins between 1:15-1:30pm. So.. now I have to hurry up and find another face painter. She may be excellent at painting but obviously needs better organization skills. Very disappointing to say the least.
