- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new clients, I always make it a priority to listen to their ideas and plans for their event. I believe that understanding their vision not only allows me to be fully prepared, but also gives me the opportunity to exceed their expectations. Whether it’s a birthday party or a themed event, I love to see reference photos and learn about the characters they want to create. As a face painter, I see children as a whole being and I strongly believe that they deserve to be heard and valued. When they sit in my chair, they become my client and my whole world and I am determined to serve their imagination to the best of my abilities and bring their ideas to life. My tone of voice is always attentive and enthusiastic, as I am genuinely passionate about creating a memorable experience for each and every one of my clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training and education in the world of makeup comes from my time studying at Hunter College, specifically focusing on stage makeup. I also hold a prestigious certificate of attendance from Kryolan U.S. for my knowledge and techniques in fantasy character makeup, which is highly regarded within the industry. In addition to my makeup expertise, I also have a degree in art education from Holy Names University. Over the past 20 years, I have shared my passion for art and makeup by teaching others and painting countless faces. With a tone of pride and experience, I can confidently say that I am well-equipped to create any look, from stage makeup to fantasy characters, and have a deep understanding of the artistry behind it.
