I think Esdras Golan is more of a painter. He agreed to power wash our house and seal our fence, and he communicated very professionally. When he arrived, however, his power washer stripped layers off of our fence in irregular patterns. The fence is now scored and scarred in a variety of places. It will need to be sanded and stained, which we will do ourselves or hire someone for much more than the cost of the power washing.
When I checked on him and brought this to his attention, he took no responsibility and stated (a) our house was too close to our fence, and (b) it was our fault for choosing a semi transparent sealant, rather than a dark one that would hide the marks. He offered no responsibility. When Esdras left he recommended I choose an oil based stain to cover up his mistakes.
After he left I noticed large cobwebs with happy, dry spiders living in them along an 8 meter stretch of fence. I texted him pictures and he responded those were present because he had the pressure washer on a low power setting to avoid damaging that part of the fence. I am concerned this part of our fence received no treatment... And if he had a low pressure setting why wasn't that available to the 15 meters of fence that was ruined?
I wish Esdras had stopped the first day, as soon as he saw the damage was happening, and consulted with me. I was right inside.... Some of the damage could have been prevented.
