We loved them, kids had a fun time with the services and kept them well entertained! Had two artists come in. One was for balloon twist and one was for face painting but both artists did both face paint and balloon twist. Amazing work, super friendly and very professional. Would recommend them! Alex on stage...was energetic, enthusiastic and quite entertaining. Our Holiday Party audience raved about his performance and quite frankly, some of his acts were hard to believe. Please consider hiring Smiling Faces Party Entertainment for your next party/event. Not only was Jennaye responsive, professional, and great with kids, but she is very family oriented and included her daughter in her business. This resonated well with our family owned and operated business motto. We loved that she did not need much guidance and adapted to our event. Although Jennaye may not be the most cost effective option up front, the quality of her designs, her expertise, and professionalism are worth the cost. We had a birthday party for about 12 kids and we were looking to hire someone who would show them a fun time. Chris was prompt (early actually), courteous, and polite. He put on an excellent show and was great with the kids. The show was a good mix of magic and comedy and entertainment and was well suited for the age level.
On top of that, he's just a decent, down to earth guy. Some may not care about that, but it's nice when you welcome someone into your home - for whatever reason - to feel comfortable with them. Chris was eager to help with any other party items that we needed.
Overall, I would rate him highly and would use him again for another event. Thanks Chris!

I posted my request on Thumbtack on Monday morning, and within 30 minutes I received a response from Captain Allstar. He called me, and I selected him to perform for my son's Birthday Party (the next day). We had to adjust the timeframe, and he was more than accommodating. He was punctual and professional throughout the entire event.
The performance was five stars because he was able to provide a great show entertaining 16 4-5 year-olds for over 45 minutes. Captain Allstar had all the kids smiling, laughing, and dancing. He was so impressive that he paused the show while the birthday boy took a potty break and still kept the audience's attention.Captain Allstar made my son's birthday a hit!
I recommend Captain Allstar to anyone who is looking for a top notch clumsy superhero magician!

I can't believe I was able to bring a performer of Chris' caliber to my home for a private party — he's SO GOOD. I'm hoping to book him for another event before he inevitably has his own Vegas show, because I'm sure it'll be a short time before he is way out of my price range. He was so impressive with his tricks and comedy, and more than that he was a pleasure to have as a party guest, too. He included everyone in my house, in every room, with such a variety of entertainment that the two hours he was there felt like many more wonderful hours, and we didn't want him to leave! Chris adapted to the crowd, appealing to everyone from a 3 year old to 20-somethings to 50s plus with balloons, story telling, card and slight of hand tricks and so much more. I'm only sad I didn't discover Chris sooner so I could have had him at past events. I thought hiring a magician might be a cute gimmick for my carnival-themed Halloween party, but it turned out to be THE THING everyone talked about for the rest of the night and will for years to come! Thank you Chris!
