In the past, a broken injket printer would have ended up in the landfill, but I hated the idea of giving up on my Canon megatank printer, which was malfunctioning and all the YouTube videos in the world couldn't get me through it. After a Google search for printer repair (it turns out that's the one thing computer repair services just don't fix), ThumbTack hooked me up with Gilbert Prado and he responded promptly. He assessed the symptoms and, when I asked him if he thought this printer was worth repairing, he replied, "Yes, sir." Gilbert arrived to pick up the printer at the time we arranged (think about this....all other repair folks will make you haul it in to them). A day later Gilbert called and said he fixed the printer, while offering tips to prevent the need to flush the print heads again. Gilbert made the drop-off safely in my front yard, and I was happy to pay his affordable fee for this convenient, professional service. We award Gilbert 5 stars and would give him 6 if the rating scale went that high.
