We met with her for two 45-minute lessons about three weeks before the wedding for help with our first dance. We asked her for general tips on how to dance to our song and instructions on how to do a few crowd-pleasing dips and lifts, and we ended up with a pretty fully choreographed 3 minute dance. She did a great job of immediately understanding our level/abilities and adjusting her teaching pace to be perfectly catered to us. She got through material really quickly and efficiently and never pushed us to buy any more lessons (although we had so much fun that we would've loved to take more lessons). We enjoyed how collaborative the process felt - Belicia showed us several possible moves and we gave feedback about which ones felt comfortable and right for us. We also brought some of our own ideas and she was enthusiastic about incorporating them. Our dance got a great reception at the wedding - we got so many cheers and great reactions from our friends and family, we had a blast performing it, and we love re-watching videos of it."See more
