Just need to be careful with the quote you get for AC duct cleaning as in my case the actual charge was about four times the quote they gave me by text message and confirmed by tel. Only when they came to do the work they wanted more saying my ducts were metal so they charged per vent for 7 vents. They also added their quote was for what they call basic cleaning, (as opposed to full duct cleaning?) which was not explained until they came to do the work. However, Aaron goes out of his way to explain and make things right.

Did not clean the ducts that they were asked to do. We had to call separate company to come out and have dryer looked at. We got certified report that dryer is functioning well, it's the duct that is clogged. These guys didn't even want to look at the vent fully all the way to the roof. David was will just try to upsell you UV lights for ducts for $700 a piece.

The technician was very friendly, explained everything well, and stayed for over 2 hours to help.
Unfortunately our problem was never solved and we were charged over $300 due to the length of the vents. We had to hire a different service and they were able to fully repair our system (cameras, additional cleaning, drywall removal, fixed blockage, new vent cover). All of the services above cost $650. The cleaning, which was successful, cost only $150.
If you need a quick clean for a short dryer vent, I would recommend Shark Duct Cleaning. If you have a bigger issue with your dryer vents like we had, I recommend going with a service that has more experience and tools to completely resolve the issues.

We called Green Air duct at the last minute in between our Airbnb guest stay because dirt was coming out of the vents. We had to fix the problem before the next guest arrived at 4pm. Lucas came in and quickly cleaned all the vents. They were able to fix the issue. I’ve included before and after photos. We’ll use them to install a UV light to prevent dirt and dust from accumulating again. I also like that they use all eco and natural products. If you have an issue with your ducts hire these guys! They’ll fix the problem

SCAM ALERT - DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS!
I hired Shark Duct Cleaning Services to clean my son's condo, expecting a straightforward service for $89 plus an optional $249 for sanitizing. However, upon arrival, they claimed there were additional fees for each vent and return, raising the cost to a shocking $700. After pleading, they only agreed to reduce the sanitizing fee slightly, yet the total bill came to $820.
Their cleaning methods were questionable: they used a small plastic box that didn’t fit the vents properly, spewing dust everywhere. The suction was weak, and the dust scattered across the condo, even though I asked why their setup was so inadequate compared to services I've used in Chicago. They brushed off my concerns and assured me they’d handle it, but the mess only worsened.
As they worked, they pressured me to leave a five-star review, promising to fix two vents for free only if I complied. They even tore off some of the vent material and applied a sloppy fix while insisting I leave a review. One of the workers stood beside me, coercing me to submit the review. I reluctantly complied, fearing they'd leave the vents unfixed. Their repair of the vents after they tore mine looks pitiful, so bad. They are not professionals, and they do not use any professional equipment.
After they left, I was horrified by the state of the condo: dust coated every surface—counters, shelves, and even the kitchen. When I checked the vents, they were still filthy. It took me six hours to clean the condo myself, and yet, the dust lingered.
Thumbtack, please investigate this company. These reviews are misleading, and they exploited my trust, costing me a fortune for an incomplete, careless job. Now I have to find a new company to clean my ducts after spending 902 dollars :-((

I had 2 guys Omer and Tom who showed up for Vent cleaning. They found a leak in the duct blower (they called it panel box) and said it will take an hour to seal the leak using Pukky and would cost me $500. I told them I don't want to do it and asked them to do what I have committed before which is cleaning Vents and ducts upstairs (quote $576 plus taxes). I asked them to do the job. The guy said he wants to talk to his office manager and came back and said he is not comfortable to do the job. I asked for the reason for refusal and he says he is not comfortable. I think he refused because I didn't want to pay $500 (plus taxes) for a blower leak to be fixed (minor leak...not that it is falling apart). Dont hire these guys...Omer is really good at price gauging. Stay away from this guy. Video being uploaded in the youtube and post the link.
