These guys are the real deal! Dennis came over to provide an estimate on the work that needed to be done in our new house from the home inspection. We had a lot of plumbing that needed to be redone in our basement, including the washer/dryer and some old leaky piping that needed replacement. The estimate was incredibly reasonable. He then finished the job within days. Will certainly use Delvecchio plumbing for all of our future plumbing needs without hesitation!

Mr. DelVecchio was very quick to respond to our plumbing needs. We needed a pair of faucets replaced to accomodate a new washer and dryer. This was a last minute request since we were told our old faucets would not function properly with the new machines.

Wilfred and Prince spotted several issues in my 122 year old house that the home inspector missed during the purchasing process. He ended up redoing some plumbing underneath a kitchen sink, clearing some clogged pipes, and replacing some severely damaged piping for the water main. They also installed new shutoff valves, a garbage disposal, and a new dishwasher. Despite the number and diversity of projects, they got everything done remarkably quickly, and, moreover, they were a pleasure to work with despite these and other challenging repairs that were being made at the same time. I’m pretty sure Wilfred saved me from several future plumbing emergencies down the line. I’d recommend him enthusiastically.

I needed help replacing a toilet and my steam radiator was leaking and needed a repair. Shane and his team was very responsive and was successful at both tasks. He offered to pick up a new toilet & dispose the old one. I already had the new toilet but it is a great added benefit. His pricing is for the services are fairly priced and I’ll be reaching out to him in the future again for any plumbing needs.

After discovering a leaky shutoff valve on my washing machine, I lived with a stackable in the middle of my kitchen for a week while my laundry piled up. After speaking to some (non-Thumbtack) plumbers and getting quoted high prices, long wait times, travel fees, showing-up fees and even no estimates at all, I put out a request on Thumbtack very late Saturday night. Jacob responded immediately. On Sunday morning, we coordinated a time and he showed up promptly Sunday afternoon. Then, while simply walking through my basement, he pointed out critical plumbing issues that needed to be addressed, including pipes hanging from a ceiling without support, a dead expansion tank on my upstairs-neighbor's boiler and a leaky backflow preventer valve on another boiler. (Three HVAC companies have looked at these systems without noting these now-obvious problems.) This was no attempt to get more work. I think Jacob is so smart and knows his trade so well, he can't help noticing these things. He did all of us a great service by spotting these issues. I recommended Jacob to my neighbors, who were grateful for the heads-up he gave us.
Unlike the other plumbers I spoke with, Jacob appreciated that my laundry/washer-in-the-kitchen problem was a real quality-of-life issue for me. That's a rare quality.
