This is a long overdue review of Luis and his team. We first contracted Luis just to work on making our low ceiling height into a higher/cathedral type. We ended up having him and his team do the ceiling, flooring, remodel our kitchen and fireplace and very recently, repainting the exterior of our house. Luis gave us reasonable price and we are very satisfied with the quality of work. We have a few more projects in our house and we're looking forward to working again with Luis and his team!

We hired Kohei and his team for several projects, and everything turned out amazing. They completely changed the layout of our yard including a retaining wall, fence and plants. They also laid a flagstone patio, a concrete patio and assembled a gazebo at another property. They remodeled a small guest house as well.
Kohei is a great communicator and always keeps you apprised of the timeline and next steps. The work is done in a reasonable time frame as well. We’ve been happy with our experience!

Kohei and his team worked on a big house remodel project for us recently. The list included replacement of old plumbing, kitchen/bath demo and installation of all new cabinets, appliances, and fixtures, painting of walls and ceilings, new flooring in bathrooms, installation of new carpet in the basement, installation of new baseboards, water heater, there may be a few small things I left out but you get the picture, the work was not trivial. We purchased the home in April, signed the contract by the end of the month, work started in May and was completed before July 4th.
We got bids from several contractors, but what stood out to me in working with Kohei was his knowledge and ability to foresee potential issues with any task that we were wanting to do, and his willingness to brainstorm solutions that would fit within our budget. This rings true of everyone in his crew, from the carpenters, plumber, electricians, and tiler. I asked for some unusual things like laying different color tiles or patchwork tiles, and installing baseboards that I stained myself, and Kohei was willing to find a way to make it happen even on a tight schedule.
His crew also went above and beyond to help us complete the project by our deadline, and we couldn't be more grateful for their hard work and integrity in helping us make our vision come alive in our new home. We are in particular grateful to Angel who did all the detailed work around the house--he did excellent work painting, installing flooring, fixtures, and helping us come up with solutions when transitions between floors went wonky, or when we had to move our too-big-for-the-door fridge.
We came away from the project feeling that Kohei and his team have a great sense of trustworthiness and pride in the work that they do. They care about quality, and are truly the opposite of what you hear about many contractors ghosting you--they will show up and finish the work. We have nothing but the highest of recommendations for Kohei and his crew!! Thanks for making our home such a beautiful place!
