Most of the house was carpeted except for the kitchen and half of the living room, which was a special durable kind of hardwood floor. I wanted to rip out the carpet and use the same kind of flooring so it would match, but that type of floor is hard to find. Martin from Oak Rock Construction took the initiative to call the company that built my house and worked with them to get the exact same flooring and materials. He got the floor to match so well that it looks like the house was originally built that way. I'm so pleased with the way it turned out and thrilled that the dog urine smell is finally gone."See more

While Alex's specialty is carpentry, he has a great network of trade contacts to expertly and beautifully complete any job. In this project, we removed, shortened and added many walls. Alex did a great job working with the existing structure to create the spaces that we wanted. When issues, like load bearing beams in an unfortunate location, arose, Alex communicated immediately with us an we went over solutions.
