Very easy to work with, installed my front door and did a good job. Except the storm door they installed hasn't closed properly since it was installed. We were not home when they completed that portion of the project to check it before paying.

I think my contractor bit off more than he could chew. He was able to fix my broken storm door handle after spending a long time modifying the handle set so the handle could stay on. My front door is not set correctly so originally, cold air pours through 3 sides and with weatherproofing, the door didn’t close easily. He spent 2 hours cleaning off the old weatherproofing and applying new, almost stopping all but 6 inches of draft from pouring through. He asked me if I was ok about the door not easily closing, which I probably should have said yes to (it always has ) because the end result is the frame surface showing the inside of the door jamb. The door now closes although I’ll have to apply wood putty to cover the removed wood and metal that used to keep the door from opening.
So I have mixed feelings only because he worked very hard but both of us had different expectations and communication should have been realistic about the outcome of this difficult project.

He never called me back & did not show Wednesday.
My job may be a small job, buying a screen door latch and installing it.
I am willing to pay a minimum show up fee!
Everyone that comes to y house charges a minimum $150.
I would appreciate if you can get someone else to come.
