Sergio was nice but his quality of work is awful. He was hired to install an exterior front door. He came by the house to access the door he would be replacing and thought it was a simple project. Then when he came to install it, he said he didn't realize the existing door was on backwards and for him to do it the other way would be an additional charge (ok). After the installation the following day, I realized he cracked the top of my new door frame. When I informed him, he tried to act like it could have been cracked already. He and I both know there was no damage to the door. The other issue is that the doorknob is not installed correctly. I can either close the door where the lower part is in the hole but I can't lock it, or I can lock the deadbolt but the bottom of the door is not in its hole. Then the next day, I was looking and noticed the bottom hinge is missing screws and there is some weird piece of wood behind it and the trim on the outside is not aligned. One side is flushed and the other part sticks out. The trim on the interior part is the same. One side flushed and the other side isn't. After I advised him about the first set of issues, he said he would let me know when he could come by to fix it. After I presented the second set of issues, he told me he charge a $100 service fee. (A service fee to fix what he messed up, isn't that something). I don't think he has any idea how to fix it and that's why suddenly, he has a service charge, oh and he said he was busy with larger projects. He was nice but his work quality needs work as well as customer service. I attached only some of the photos. I'm glad I waited to write a review and didn't do it right away. I understand this may be his side hustle and I am not mad at that. But I wish he would take pride in his work. Now I am going to have to take action. I asked him to call me but of course, he hasn't.
