Mike K. says, "First Class Chimney Services quickly replied to my inquiry on Thumbtack and I was able to schedule an appointment for them to come take a look at my leaking chimney a few days later. While the phone consultation was great, the first sign I would not be dealing with first class customer service was their 2-hour appointment window. Great for them but not so great for the customer. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a weekday with a window of 12:00-2:00. Upon leaving work at 11:30 to get home by 12:00 I checked my cell phone which I'm unable to take into the building where I work. I had a voicemail from First Class Chimney at 10:30 saying they were at my door but no one was home. I quickly called them back and told them I had an appointment window of 12:00-2:00 and I was simply told "Well we were running early today". Asking if I should return to work or continue home for my scheduled appointment the representative said I should continue home, they would fit me in sometime later that day and he would call to let me know when. I continued home and never received a call back from First Class.
Update: After posting the above review I received a call from First Class apologizing for the miscommunication. They rescheduled my appointment immediately and were even kind enough to discount the work due to the previous inconvenience. Their guys showed up on time, were very professional and ran down the options for the repair with me. They did a great job on the repair and the chimney looks and functions better than ever. I'll definitely have them back for seasonal cleanings and additional repairs when the time comes."See more
