Rome responded immediately to my request for HVAC service. He accessed the situation with the furnace and advised it needed to be replaced. Immediately my thoughts went to thousands of dollars that I would have to spend. Not so. Rome put me in touch with a wholesale company and the savings were tremendous. My furnace arrived and Rome installed it. It was explained to me what he was doing and how things operate. I would suggest hiring this young entrepreneur for your HVAC needs. I went on the app and was able to schedule my appointment. Although on the app it said that the contractor was not available for same day. It did allow me to schedule for 24 hours out. Upon scheduling, Tony called me and was available to come out the same day. He was very nice, very professional, communicated well and was able to get my furnace running within an hour.

James quickly called shortly I submitted my request via thumbtack to ask some questions about the work I wanted done and wanted to provide a free estimate. He came by same day and provided an exact price of the work he’d be doing (install a furnace mounted humidifier and tune up/routine maintenance) as well as offered times he is available. The next day, he arrived exactly when he said he would. What set him apart is once finished with the install, he explained how to use the humidifier and what to be on the lookout for during the various seasons to ensure it is working properly. Additionally, he took pictures and explained potential concerns with my furnace while he performed the tune up. He provided simple explanations and comparisons so any non-technical person could understand, and suggested some simple preventative maintenance actions which would increase the lifespan of my 10+ old furnace (without any pushy sales tactics). I will be using him again and would recommend him to friends/family as his prices were reasonable and he conducts himself professionally. Lastly, and most importantly, in my opinion he has a quality that all customers are looking for when hiring specialists in this industry: honesty.
