Cannot recommend enough. I thought my thermostat broke, since the screen flickered out and went black, bought a new one for $100, installation didn’t go well, so I finally caved and sought help from a pro. He noticed that the issue wasn’t the thermostat after all, but a sensor near my furnace which cuts electricity to the thermostat that I never would have noticed. Saved me the money of that new thermostat (I returned it), and on top of that, he could tell that the thermostat I had was specially effective for my variable speed AC unit. The guy also gave me great tips on easily cleaning my AC unit. I learned a ton as he explained issues as well as tips. When people try and trick you into spending more than you need, they use jargon and over-explain to confuse you. But not this guy; everything was made crystal clear. Timely and all for a reasonable price. One of those rare service calls where you finish feeling better off than before the issue even arose! I will 100% call next time anything heating/cooling related comes up.

Carl is an amazing technician. He was especially good at explaining the problem as well as showing me what the problem was.
