Cannot recommend enough. I thought my thermostat broke, since the screen flickered out and went black, bought a new one for $100, installation didn’t go well, so I finally caved and sought help from a pro. He noticed that the issue wasn’t the thermostat after all, but a sensor near my furnace which cuts electricity to the thermostat that I never would have noticed. Saved me the money of that new thermostat (I returned it), and on top of that, he could tell that the thermostat I had was specially effective for my variable speed AC unit. The guy also gave me great tips on easily cleaning my AC unit. I learned a ton as he explained issues as well as tips. When people try and trick you into spending more than you need, they use jargon and over-explain to confuse you. But not this guy; everything was made crystal clear. Timely and all for a reasonable price. One of those rare service calls where you finish feeling better off than before the issue even arose! I will 100% call next time anything heating/cooling related comes up.

I had irregular vents for HVAC in the basement and Carl did a great job in straightening them and moving the copper pipe into the joists which would help in having a cleaner look without more soffits when finishing the basement. He will be back to install a return vent when i finish the basement He noticed my coolant was low and filled it up without any charge. I will definitely recommend him to my friends

As a single mom who often experiences companies trying to manipulate or price gouge me, it’s refreshing to find truly genuine, honest people who care about their clients. Carl is one of those people and I’m beyond grateful to have found him on Thumbtack earlier today! He contacted me soon after getting the request and then he, along with his wife, stopped by my house the SAME NIGHT (tonight) to replace both capacitors in my A/C unit on their way home from their date!! WHO DOES THAT??? Carl does!! We’ve been miserable in a house that kept getting hotter and hotter as the day went on so I am so incredibly grateful for him!! Not only that but his price was more than competitive, he obliterated the competition!! He will be my go-to guy from now on and he should totally be yours! I cannot recommend him enough or shout enough praises for his work, his dedication, his professionalism and his genuine concern for others. Carl was very friendly and responsive. First he installed a flame sensor in a flash and for less than half of what a competitor quoted. Then he installed whole house humidifier in a very cramped utility room for a very reasonable charge. I highly recommend him and will definitely use his services from now on.
