Rachel F. says, "We commissioned Ed and his team to remodel our high rise 3 bedroom 2 bath condo in Lakeview. In total they completely remodeled our kitchen, two bathrooms, sanded and restrained the hardwood floors, installed new closet doors, painted throughout, and brought our electrical and plumbing up to current code. This project took about 8 months, during which time Ed was in constant communication with us and our HOA, coordinating to make sure everything stayed on track. He was always accessible whenever we had concerns and made sure to address them to our satisfaction. Everyone on his team was very nice and courteous, especially given that we were living in the construction area for part of the time. Ed’s initial quote was accurate and the only overages were items we specifically upgraded ourselves or asked to modify. We are very happy with the quality of craftsmanship and Ed’s commitment to integrity and excellence. We highly recommend ES Carpentry for all your home remodeling needs. Joe took our ideas of what we were hoping to do with our 90's kitchen and the finished product blew us away. We lived in our house during the remodel. One of the many things we liked about JCJ is that they never left our house messy at the end of the day. They made it a point to clean up and always keep our home in a livable condition. Another thing that we really appreciated was the ideas Joe and James would bring to us that we didn't even know would be possible. In addition to the kitchen and master bath remodel, they also replaced all of our floors on the first level, some flooring on the second level, replaced our carpeted stairs with wood, built a breakfast bar between the kitchen and family room, replaced our wood burning fireplace with an electric fireplace and even repaired some siding and roof damage we incurred during a storm. During the demo we did encounter some surprises which is always the case when opening walls. Matt was quick to suggest ideas to keep the project on track. He even went out of his way several times to suggest additional enhancements to improve structural safety of the home. He is very knowledgeable and versatile in so many areas carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and more! The value he and his team provide is really worth the end result. The communication throughout the project and after was amazing. At no point did we feel out of the loop or surprised.
