Pedro service was great. He was very responsive, he came out give us a free quote for a sink replacement and installation. We schedule him for the next day. He showed up did the work (which was phenomenal) and cleaned up after himself. We were so glad to get our sink replaced. Thank you again for your work.

Sebastian was very knowledgeable on the topic of replacing kitchen sink faucets. I would recommend him for any plumbing tasks. I also plan on hiring him again to install a chandelier as electrical is another area of expertise.

Joe Remodeling and Management Co., owner, Joe Hodzic, isn't a licensed plumber. His sink re-installation re-used the original PVC pipes, which is not Chicago Code. The building manager didn't approve the sinkinstallation, called him, and he admitted he wasn't a licensed plumber, wasn't sure whether PVC was up to code of not. His job had to be redone by a licensed plumber, who I got on referral, and whose completion passed Chicago Code. This cost me additional money, almost the same amount I paid Joe. I intend to contact Joe, today, and ask for my money to be refunded.

We had great experience working with him. He showed and explained the problem we had and gave us advice what we should do, also suggested the options that could save us money. Nicely installed the sink, faucet, kitchen lights and fixed the plumbing issues. Highly recommend him.

I wanted to get a quote for a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal install. Got a call from someone who didn’t know details of the job. After sending pictures of the faucet, under the sink, and confirmation that I already have the new faucet and disposal on hand….I was given a quote of $650. The quote felt arbitrary and inflated.

Giving Matt 4 stars because he was good & did the job I hired him for (connecting plumbing for my new kitchen sink and installing my new faucet). 5 stars to me is exceptional/ wouldn’t change anything so giving 4 because he was 35 minutes late and VERY soft spoken, he barely said hi or 1 word to me when he walked in. I was the one that had to initiate the conversation and ask questions. Especially for plumbing where most people have no clue what’s going on (including me) it’s important for workers to completely describe what they are doing and to exude confidence to make the client feel comfortable. Because of his quiet demeanor I didn’t feel the most comfortable or confident with him. I’m glad everything worked in the end despite some mishaps with the pipes not fitting correctly and one having a crack in it but that wasn’t his fault.

Reading from so many five-star reviews made me wonder perhaps my experience was just an outlier. First, let me list all the good. He was punctual, courteous, gentle with the fixtures which was great for old plumbing. Also, he was well trained as a plumber (his skills were reliable). The reason for the three stars was due to the following. While he was very prompt to reply and answer all my questions before he got the job, all my emails went unanswered afterwards. He did not bother to provide an invoice after repeated requests. I suppose there was no such thing as customer support once someone has been paid. In addition, he did not email me the photo of the cartridge he took even though that was taken during those paid hours. It would made things easier since I can just showed the photo to a store to order the cartridge. He came to change cartridges for two shower faucets and replace a bathroom sink faucet. One of the shower faucet cartridge was easily replaced, but the other was unique, so he took the photo and put it back. He changed the bathroom sink shut off valves because he said they were old, but he did not have the time to install the pop up assembly, so I had to place a piece of glue to cover the tiny hole on the faucet. The biggest issue I had was his $75 service fee. Because one of the faucet could not locate a replacement cartridge, he said he would complete it the next time. But when I asked him if I would be charged $75 again for the 2nd visit, he said YES because it was my issue (faucet choice) that he could not purchase a replacement during the same visit. He said $75 covered his traveling cost, but seriously I did not think it took $75 worth of gas to travel to downtown Chicago. Anyway, I decided to find someone else to finish the cartridge replacement. For his visit, he charged $200, which was not exorbitant. However, I was expecting someone with higher standards given his impeccable reputation. I was somewhat disappointed.
