UPDATE ON PREVIOUS POST FROM 10/13. I hired another local electrician to inspect and FINISH the job that Enigma attempted to perform on 10/12. Within 5 minutes of being in the house their exact quote was, "The person either did not know what they were doing, did not care, or both." They said this because the ceiling fan braces that are used to support the weight of the fan were not anchored or connected at all to the joists in the attic, they were just sitting on in the attic on top of the drywall supporting the entire weight of the fans directly ABOVE MY KIDS' BEDS. It was only a matter of time until the weight would have brought the fans crashing down into their bedrooms. They also inspected the wiring in the attic and claimed that it was "handy man quality and not up to code" due to the type of wiring that Keith used (pre-wired flex cable instead of feeding his own wiring through cable). Also, the drywall that was damaged in the family room is not covered up by the fan fixture and shows horribly because of the way that it was cut by Enigma. We will now need to replace a portion of the ceiling drywall out of our own pockets. While he did offer to give me money back, the offer was only "good" if I were allow him to come back into my house and "fix" the job, something that I was not going to let happen- especially after knowing what I know now. I deeply regret my decision in hiring Enigma to do any work in my house after they put my familys safety at risk with not even bracing the fans above our heads! The other company was in and out in 5 hours, and finished the job right the 1st time. This whole ordeal cost me twice as much as it should have, caused me to take a day off of work to repair the job, and had me running back and forth to the hardware store to replace parts that were lost during Enigma's installation. This has been by far my worst experience with a contractor. Based on my experience, I would tell you not to hire Keith from Enigma for any type of job
